Paris // France
When autumn comes across France, there’s a crispy, cold feeling in the air that excites your lungs. Getting out for an early morning walk can really jumpstart your senses for the day. I grab my camera and walk these early mornings with my eyes wide open to any opportunity to capture an image. I’ll admit that some of my attention is spent watching out for the next pastry shop where I can have an espresso and perhaps another croissant if the last one didn’t do the trick.
As I walked across the River Seine, I looked down the river to see the tower. Situated squarely in front of the tower and directly up the river from myself was the Trocadero, a popular spot for tourists to get a shot with the Eiffel Tower. While I often try to avoid these spots, it can be a good exercise to use the people in the images for composition.
I walked slowly and made some photos along the way. When I arrived, it was still fairly empty of people, then a gentleman on a bicycle came along to admire the view.
