Behind the Images

I was working in Italy and spent the day scouting the incredibly narrow streets of the Medieval town of Todi.

Summer was gone, but they’re still holding on.

Most of my images from this morning didn’t include the road in the shot, but this is one of my favorites.

I can assume they are on the way home, though their stride and attitude suggested that they were just getting started.

The board gives them purpose and their composition gives them a story.

Myself, a photographer from Colorado, and another from Tasmania, watched (and photographed) an incredibly dramatic sunset behind Wild Goose Island.
